ينضم هاتف جديد إلى عائلة هواوي حيث تم الإعلان عن مواصفات هاتف هواوي Y7p بشاشة على شكل الثقب ليكون ذلك أبرز ما يميز هذا الهاتف عن غيره في نفس النطاق السعري، فقد تم الاهتمام بشكل التصميم مع ألوان جذابة مع معالج هواوي الـ Kirin 710F الذي سبق وان قمنا برؤيته في أكثر من هاتف لهواوي مع كاميرات خلفية بدقة مقبولة وللعمل على تقليل سعر الهاتف أيضا تم خفض دقة الشاشة والكاميرا الأمامية بالمقارنة مع Huawei Y8p السابق مع الاهتمام بشكل كبير بالتصميم بالأخص في ظهر الهاتف عند التعرض إلى الضوء.
