أعلنت فى فبراير من العام 2017 عن احدث اصدارتها هاتف Sony xperia xz premium والّذي انتزع في وقته لقب افضل هاتف فى العالم فى مؤتمر MWC من هاتف Samsung galaxy s8 وهو الهاتف الثانى من شركة سوني بدقة 4k بعد هاتف Sony Z5 premium وتم اصدار الهاتف فى شهر يونيو من العام الجاري 2017.
